SEPTEMBER UPDATES

Hello out there....

I have been remiss in updating my blog here over the summer.... I will try to be more diligent this fall.

My Kids Club is starting up again and with a bang I might say! I'm really excited about it and can't wait for the first class. This fall we will be working on a 12x12 Calendar so not a lot of room for Drop In's but Come January classes will be much more conducive to being able to Drop in and join a class here and there.

Not too bad hey? A friend and I got together and designed this pack of cards! OOPS I forgot to take a photo of the best one! The Peacock.... Don't have time now as Im getting ready to head out the door camping with the family for a week.... I will work on my blog more when I come back and I will also be sure to post the peacock card as it is beautiful!

Made this card in a pinch when my daughter attended an impromptu Sweet 16 party for a friend....

Everything except the stamp is Stampin UP... I used this great Stamp of the Month set from Close to my heart "Be Yourself"! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set... its so girly and really great!

The photo is not doing this card justice that's for sure... I really love it up close and personal. I also used glitter on the girl's jewlery to make it sparkle and stand out just that little bit.

Or the birthday came and went and you didn’t have a chance to send a card because life got busy and you didn’t have time to buy one? OR maybe you’re not the one that gets caught without a card, maybe it’s a friend, family member or significant other. With this Emergency Card Kit you, or the person you gift it to, will never be empty handed again!

In this class you will receive the instructions and supplies to make 2 card boxes and 12 different 3” x6” Cards (6 for each box), and 12 open ended envelopes.

Kids Scrap-n-Stamp

At the Last Kids Scrap-N-Stamp Class we Scrapped.

We did these 8x8 pages

ALL ABOUT ME

It was a Fun Class and I had kids from ages 6-16 show up to play!
Everyone did a good job and everyone changed it up a little bit to make the pages their own. I was quite proud of the girls. The sample of the work posted here is my Eldest Daughters.

I gave the girls journal prompts of all sorts to choose from to use on their Journal tags and printed large print lined sheets for them to cut and paste with them as well.

I don't recommend the class for kids 8 and under unless they have a parent with them to help.
I have two six year old girls that come with their mothers and they have a blast and are quite capable.

Our Next class we will be creating a Card keeper for the cards we will be making in future classes....

IF you think your child would be interested in joining us for a Kids Club I am opening a new club starting April on Saturday afternoons. I need a minimum of 5 participants to open a club and we have a maximum of 10 seats. Please contact me if you are interested. The cost of this club is $25 per month with the exception of special projects that may cost a wee bit more.

Im now offering a new opportunity for kids to get into scrap booking and stamping.

What is it?

A Scrap-n-Stamp Club!

We are going to scrap book, make cards and all sorts of projects.
We are going to work with photos, inks, stamps, all different kinds of scrap booking and stampin products.

How does it work?

We will meet up twice a month, every other Friday night.

Times: 6:30-9pm
A small snack will be provided

COST: $25/Month

I need a minimum of 7 kids to make this a go.

As soon as we have that magic #7 on board we will get started.

Please pass along this information to anyone you think might be interested.

Projects will be geared for ages 8 and UP, but younger children are welcome as long as they bring a parent to help them out.

If parents want to do the project themselves they can for a $10 fee. Please pre-Advise so that I can prep the extra project.

Everyone who confirms particiaption will recieve a basic supply list that they will need to bring for each class.

This class is second in a series that will classify as a fund raiser for my son's class trip in the Spring. We decided that instead of selling chocolate bars we would play with Paper and photos!
He is helping me do all the prep for these classes as to have a hand in participating raising the funds for his trip.
